Karen Schweinfest
Director
Karen served as choral director in the Southwest Local School District for 30 years. She holds both a Bachelor and Master of Music Education degree from Miami University. She is a member of the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) where she continues to be an active state adjudicator. She is married to Mike Schweinfest, former business manager of the Southwest Local School District, and is stepmother to Alyson and Evan.
Nina Quinlivan
Assistant Director/Accompanist
A graduate of Harrison High School, Nina continued her studies of music at Miami University where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education in 1985. Nina has taught elementary music in the Talawanda school system and currently accompanies for Harrison High School choirs. She has had several original choral compositions published and currently resides in Harrison with her husband Gerry, and two sons, Kyle and Kevin.
Shauna Poling
Accompanist
Shauna has been teaching music in the Southwest Local School District since 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the College of Mount Saint Joseph and a Master of Special Education degree from Kaplan University. She is married to fellow choir member, Derron Poling. She has two children, Brittany and Brandon, and is the proud grandmother of Zoey, Lilli and Bentley.
